Three different nationalities competed in the semi-finals in the wheelchair tournament. Fourth seeded Belgian Vincent d’Hondt won against first seeded Darren Kennish of the Isle of Man. In the second semi-final we also saw a Belgian. This was the third placed Serge van Belle. He went down against the Dane Carsten Steensig.

In the standing semi-finals we saw two compatriots again. Pascal van der Hoorn lost to the well-scoring Evi Foulon from Belgium. Michelovic van Velzen went down against a very good playing Wayne Chapman from Canada.

Both finals were beautiful matches to watch. Vincent d’Hondt won 5-0 against Carsten Steensig, but the legs were very exciting. In the standing tournament, Wayne Chapman won 5-3 against Evi Foulon by throwing a 14 and 15 darts in a row, and a 109 finish for the match. A really great party!

We congratulate Chapman and d’Hondt on their WPD World Masters titles. Also congratulations to all other players because they did have to place themselves through the WPD ranking, so they had to collect the necessary points to be allowed to participate here.
